Psychometric Analysis of Test Results: an Introduction
The course consists of presentations and workshops.
The course starts with the presentation of a general framework for test construction. Given this framework, special emphasis will be laid on the functions of testing, data collection and data analysis. The course starts with an introduction to classical test theory. This is followed by an explanation and interpretation of the results of classical test and item analyses. The final part of this course is an introduction to item response theory (IRT), including a comparison with classical test theory. There will be a discussion of some IRT analyses.
Participants are invited to bring their own materials. The trainer will contact the participants concerning the types of materials.
